Every year brings change in technology, but 2025 stood out for different reasons. It was not simply a year of activity, but one of deliberate growth, sharper positioning, and stronger execution. As a game development studio operating across both mobile game development and digital applications, we entered the year with a clear objective: refine how we build, validate ideas earlier, and create long-term value through structured production.

global momentum & industry recognition

The year began with international visibility. Vukašin Despotović, Business Developer at OOX Limited, represented our studio at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco,  one of the most influential global gatherings in the gaming industry. Participation in GDC provided direct exposure to evolving production methodologies, publishing models, and monetization trends shaping the future of mobile game development.

In June, Marko Štrba attended the inaugural Pocket Gamer Connects Barcelona in Barcelona, a key event dedicated to leaders in mobile game development. The conference brought together publishers, developers, monetization experts, and growth specialists. For OOX Limited, it was an opportunity to deepen discussions around scalable production pipelines and sustainable player engagement strategies.

These early milestones reinforced our international network and strengthened our position as a growing game development studio with a clear global outlook.

 mid-year reset

July marked a brief but meaningful pause.

After an intensive first half filled with production cycles and international travel, the team stepped back to reset. We spent time together revisiting arcade classics, a reminder of the creative roots that drive both mobile game development and digital product innovation.

For a scaling game development studio, moments like these are not about slowing down, they are about maintaining clarity, alignment, and sustainable creativity.

recharged and back on the road

August brought one of the year’s most visible milestones. Marko Štrba, CEO at OOX Limited, represented the company and the Serbian Games Association at Gamescom in Cologne, the largest gaming event in Europe.

This marked our second consecutive year exhibiting with our own booth as part of the Serbian delegation. Exhibiting at Gamescom signals more than attendance, it reflects production maturity and readiness for international collaboration within the global mobile game development ecosystem.

In early September, international engagement continued at the Creative Bridge: Korea & Serbia business event (September 9–10), held in Belgrade. The initiative was organized through collaboration between the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA),  Serbia Creates, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Serbia, and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), with local execution led by the Serbian Games Association and the Serbian IT Association.

The event created a structured dialogue between two rapidly developing tech ecosystems. For OOX Limited, participation represented another step toward expanding collaboration not only in mobile game development, but also across broader digital product innovation.

Sharing Expertise at GameDev Rev

In October, Marko Štrba joined a production and publishing panel at GameDev Rev, the first gaming conference organized by the Macedonian Games Industry.

The discussion focused on production workflows and publishing strategies for both mobile and PC titles. Fellow panelists included representatives from Not a Shark, Furious Avocado, and Windflower Games.

Participating as a speaker positioned OOX Limited not only as a delivery-focused game development studio, but as an active contributor to industry dialogue around scalable production and sustainable publishing models within the mobile game development space.

production & mobile game development growth

While international conferences shaped our external presence, the core of 2025 unfolded inside the studio.

Throughout the year, OOX Limited focused extensively on rapid prototyping for multiple clients across both games and digital applications. Projects moved from early ideation and concept validation to playable MVPs and fully functional working prototypes, following a structured lifecycle designed to reduce uncertainty and accelerate testing.

This iterative framework strengthened our internal processes and reinforced our role within the broader mobile game development ecosystem. By combining development and art production in-house, we streamlined collaboration and reduced iteration cycles.

The year also marked significant internal growth. Our team expanded by over 100%, increasing production capacity and enabling us to support more complex and parallel initiatives. Scaling at this pace required deliberate investment in communication, structure, and long-term operational clarity.

Validation in Practice Across Mobile Games and Apps

Our hybrid-casual framework continued evolving throughout 2025, expanding on previously shared insights into hybrid casual gaming.

One practical example is Sword Island: Samurai, developed for Transsion: the fifth-largest mobile phone manufacturer globally. The project moved from structured validation to a production-ready build, demonstrating how early testing, iteration in Unity, and focused execution can translate into scalable market-ready experiences.

Looking Ahead

While 2025 was intensive, it also meant revisiting priorities for the year ahead. We were unable to attend several important industry events we participated in during 2024, including Mobidictum Conference in Istanbul and Reboot Develop Blue in Dubrovnik. We also missed Digital Dragons in Krakow,  notably the only major regional industry event we have yet to attend.

That changes in 2026.

Strategic Focus for 2026

2026 is not about building more.
It is about building smarter.

Our strategic focus remains clear: early market validation before full-scale investment.

Too many digital products fail not because they are poorly built, but because they are built too early, before real market signals are understood. As a game development studio, we position ourselves differently. We prioritize validation cycles, rapid iteration in Unity, and playable MVP development before committing partners to long-term production.

Prototype. Test. Measure. Decide.

Only when traction is confirmed do we transition into full in-house development, supported by integrated art and engineering teams working under one roof.

This approach reduces risk, shortens feedback loops, and protects partner budgets by ensuring that time and capital are invested in ideas that demonstrate real potential.

In line with this approach, our expansion into mobile applications follows the same philosophy. Whether in mobile game development or digital product innovation, validation comes first.

What Clients Can Expect in 2026

Ultimately, clients can expect clarity before commitment.

More specifically, we help partners answer the most important question early:
Is this worth building?

Through rapid, structured prototyping, we create playable MVPs designed for real-world testing. Instead of months of assumption-driven production, we enable fast feedback and measurable validation. As a result, partners gain clarity before making long-term commitments.

Everything is built in-house. Fast. With purpose.

If validation confirms traction, we scale the product responsibly, moving into full-cycle development with aligned expectations and stronger strategic direction.

Our goal is simple:
Help partners invest smarter, not just build faster.

Let’s talk.
