Q&A

I’ve been playing games my whole life, and I’ve always wondered how they were made. Over time, that curiosity turned into a real desire to create my own games — not just play them, but build experiences that other people can enjoy.
Definitely creatively. I usually start by thinking about how the system should feel to the player and what kind of experience it should create. After that, I structure it in a logical way so it functions properly and remains stable in production.
It depends on the mood. Sometimes I spend time with my partner or family to recharge. Other times I hang out with friends, go on a road trip, or relax at home watching movies or playing games. I like having a mix — it keeps things balanced and inspiring.
My studies weren’t directly related to game development, but engineering taught me structured thinking and systematic problem-solving. Breaking complex systems into smaller parts and debugging step by step are skills that translate directly into mobile game development.
Gameplay systems. I enjoy designing mechanics and seeing how they interact with one another. When a system “clicks” and improves the overall experience, that’s the most satisfying part.
I break it down to the smallest possible parts and look for the root cause. Testing components individually and iterating gradually helps isolate issues. It’s like solving a puzzle - sometimes frustrating, but rewarding when it finally works.
I focus first on features that truly impact the player experience. Then I add complexity gradually while monitoring performance. If something creates unnecessary strain, I look for simpler implementations that achieve the same effect. That way, the game remains smooth without sacrificing fun.
